JAMAICA IS MADE FOR HONEYMOONS
We have found that the expectations of what a honeymoon suite should be has changed enormously. It’s not only a matter of size but of having all the bells and whistles. Today, we are asked, by our honeymoon couples to find them suites with private pools, sunken Jacuzzis, outdoor showers and major size balconies or terraces. Many of our couples think of this stay at their special resort as possibly the most expensive and extravagant of their life.
Given the odds that this trip could be the most expensive and extravagant of a couple’s life together, we hear from our couples that they want a resort where they will fussed over is high on the list of expectations for modern honeymooners: We love to recommend resorts which feature their special concierge service for check in and then for the privacy time, the round-the-clock butler or room service feature. Private plunge pools are increasingly a feature of high-end rooms, as are novelties such as walk-in “rain showers” and dedicated spa rooms within the suite, where couples can arrange for massages.
Some of the very special resorts in Jamaica, which feature these types of accommodations are the Sandals Royal Caribbean, with their luxurious Over the Water Bungalows, the Half Moon Resort with their Eclipse or Founders Cove accommodations, to the Couples Tower Isle, with their Signature Oasis Spa Villa. These are just a few of the suggestions we can offer to you for having your romantic honeymoon in Jamaica.
If our honeymooners are alone at the resort, meaning that they are not staying at the same resort as their wedding or they don’t have children with them following the wedding, we find that privacy is a number one request for our honeymooners. We like to suggest the stand-alone villas, suites separated from the public areas of the hotel and even have their own access to exclusive beaches or pools. Many of the presidential suites come with its own separate entrance so while you are staying in this type of suite, you never have to mingle with the guests coming through the lobby.
